Copper Outdoor Fountains
Copper fountains are very well known for having highly complex designs due to the
malleable quality of the copper element. Designers are therefore able to create the smallest of
details in their fountain designs using the Copper metal. Many copper fountains are molded into
the shape of intricate floral and leaf designs that include stems and branches.
Copper fountains have a smooth metallic finish with the beautiful radiating copper tones
on them. These fountains are highly durable and can withstand all weather types outdoors while
maintaining their original finish and design. It is difficult to find any other fountain types with the
same durability and detail in design.
There is also a surprise that copper sculpted fountains offer, which is called patina. As
copper oxidizes over time it produces a beautiful emerald coloured finish on its surface, similar
to the Statue of Liberty. This emerald color then reflects from the water basin of the fountain,
creating a leafy-green spectacle for the eyes! This transition of metallic copper to patina creates
an extravaganza of warm and earthy colors on the fountain. With the water flowing over top of
all of this, it is sure to leave you in awe.
